Political Crisis in Burundi

Staged portrait of Gloria*, a relative of a police officer, who was killed a few days after the protests began, late April 2015. They used to lived in one of the Northern neighborhoods of Bujumbura, where the street contestation is the strongest. She says that the officer had refused to repress the opposition, along with the Imbonerakure and one night he was sent to a mission, where he was killed. She believes that this was a trap. Today, she still receives sporadic threats. She is scared for her children and wishes she could flee the country.
