Political Crisis in Burundi

Staged portrait of Bienvenue*, a police officer, who refused to collaborate with the Imbonerakure, the youth wing of the ruling party (CNDD-FFD), in fighting the opposants of President Nkurunziza third term. After being sent to a more quiet office position in the countryside as a ‘punishment,' he is now back to Bujumbura, where he has been completely demobilized. He fears for his personal safety and he keeps moving around, in order to not be found.
